Anna’s research topics are narratives of motherhood in contemporary literature. With Margaretha Fahlgren, she works on an article on autobiographical writing contesting motherhood which examines contemporary autobiographical works about motherhood. They will especially focus on the relation between autobiography and autofiction in narratives by Rachel Cusk, Sheila Heti and a selection of Swedish writers. Furthermore, her research deals with narratives about the lifelong motherhood and the relationship between generations of mothers and children.
