Mentoring

The aim of the MotherNet mentoring programme for researchers as well as early career researchers is to provide VU scholars with the guidance and support they need to pursue successful academic careers.

The principal objectives of the programme include the following:

  1. To strengthen interaction and collaboration between senior scholars from the two internationally-leading research institutions (NUIM and UU) and those VU researchers who seek to develop their research profiles;
  2. To develop targeted Career Development Plans for the VU researchers that outline a clear strategy for enhancing their research activity and raising their individual research profiles;
  3. To develop the scholarly networks of VU researchers by enabling the senior scholars integrate them into their national and international research networks.

The MotherNet mentoring program is led by Margaretha Fahlgren and Anna Williams.
