I am specialising in gender studies and anthropology in South Asia. My main research interests are prostitution, human trafficking, non-governmental organizations, and feminism. I have been conducting ethnographic field researches about women in prostitution in India, Nepal, and Lithuania. The topic of my dissertation is The Identities and Experiences of Women in Prostitution in the Context of Repressive Social Politics: The Case Analysis of India and Nepal.
