Maria Sebastià Sáez

Associate Professor at the Institute for Literary, Cultural and Translation Studies of Vilnius University.

Her main research area is Comparative Literature and her main research topic is ancient Greek and Latin tragedy and its reception in Western culture. Currently, the focus of my research is the uncommon motherhood and boundaries of motherhood, the deviations of the canonical idea of motherhood and childlessness leitmotif in literature.
