Daiva is interested in family policy, gender, work-life balance, single mothers and policy interventions to solve their problems. She is a member of Eurofamnet. Her publications include ”The Lithuanian welfare system over the last 20 years of democratic transition: achievements, challenges, and future prospects” co-authored with J.Aidukaite, J.Moskvina, (Routledge Handbook of European Welfare Systems, ed. by K.Schubert, S.Blum, J.Kuhlman (2019) and “Social benefits against poverty of single parent for social investment”.
